From 7 to 12 cm in length; lobes often constricted towards the base; slender petiole 3.5 to 5 cm long. The ovoid leaves are deeply lobed. The lobes are acuminate and sharply toothed. The leaves are bright green, light green on the underside. In autumn, they turn dark purple.
